The SEC announced multiple changes to this week’s men’s basketball schedule on Monday due to the inclement weather affecting a large portion of the conference’s footprint.
Any games scheduled on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday were either moved to a later day or had the time slightly altered.
The LSU Tigers were included in the changes. The Tigers were originally scheduled to be off this week until Saturday; the conference recently announced LSU would travel to Ole Miss for a makeup game on Wednesday.
Instead of tipping off on Wednesday evening, the game will now be played on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. ET.
LSU lost two conference games due to COVID-19 issues at Missouri and Florida. The SEC could not find a makeup date for the Missouri game and instead replaced it with another road game for the Tigers to balance their schedule.
LSU’s game with Florida is expected to move to March 6.
LSU traveled to Ole Miss back on Jan. 9, with the Tigers winning the game, 75-61.
