South Williamsport’s home game against Cowanesque Valley was suspended shortly before 9 p.m. with the Mounties holding a 13-0 lead at halftime. No makeup plans were announced.
It came after a roughly 30-minute lightning delay at halftime.
At the half, the Mounties held a 188-103 advantage in total yards. All of South’s yards came on the ground.
Lane Lusk led the Mounties with 17 carries for 114 yards and Swarthout had eight carries for 47 yards and both of the Mounties’ touchdowns.
Cowanesque Valley fumbled the ball twice, and lost both.

South’s first touchdown was the result of a Ryan Fry fumble recovery.
No makeup was announced after the decision was made regarding resumption.
